We spent the morning nipping in and out of small villages with lovely sunny bays; first stop was Hat Head an unspoilt fishing village and fishing resort. Next onto Crescent Head, which is one of the hot spots of international surfing, an hour soon passes by as we watch people of all ages having a go. Before heading to our accommodation we drive onto Seal Rocks a small, isolated coastal town located 310km north of Sydney.

After getting lost (again) we find our accommodation in Emerald Beach another (Airbnb); a very modern apartment with fantastic views overlooking bay.
